• How do I place an order?
 We have two different sets of ordering instructions based upon your desired payment method...
• What does it mean if my item is a "special order"?
 Our website was originally created to give our customers access to every customized option from some of our favorite body jewelry makers. Special orders will usually take between 2-4 weeks for delivery, but you can always log into our website to view the most current status and an estimated delivery date. Merchandise that's in stock will be shipped out immediately and should arrive in 7-10 days at the latest. If your special order hasn't shipped by the estimated date, you can choose between a 25% discount off your next purchase or cancel without a restocking fee.

* Guaranteed shipping dates are based on the first business day that immediately follows your order. If you order during the weekend or after hours on Friday, the estimated delivery date is based on the following Monday. Orders placed during federal holidays may create an additional delay in the starting date of your order.
• I'm furious, why do some items cost $1-2 more online?
 I had a lady in the Harvard Ave shop the other day who was interested in a specific out of stock nose bone from Industrial Strength. It was normally $6 in the shop (and could have been special ordered with $3 down), but priced $8 online even though the site offers "free shipping". She was openly pissed off at my sneaky attempt to make an extra two bucks on the deal. I want to take this opportunity to explain that only the most inexpensive items (under $10) are priced a little extra, while the majority of our catalog is minimal retail markup. If the item is priced at $10 or above, then it's priced exactly the same as our regular shop price. That $8 nose bone doesn't net too much after I pay for packaging, postage, payment processing and infinite related overhead costs. I'd flat out lose money at $6. We want to offer everything under the sun to our customers as a convenience, but sometimes don't profit much.
• How do I cancel or change my order?
 To cancel or modify an order, you can either email us or call the shop at (918)398-9508 from Monday through Saturday between noon and 7pm. There's a 15% service/restocking fee for either cancelling or changing an order after 24 hours. If you placed an order on Tuesday morning, you'd need to contact us by midnight on Wednesday at the very latest. Log into our website to see if your order has shipped already. You may need to wait for it to arrive, scribble out your address and boldly write "Return to Sender" on the label. Drop it off at the Post Office and we'll process the refund as soon as we receive it. WARNING: Open the box and you own it! If the box is open, we'll be forced to assume the jewelry has been worn and will reject your return. There's no restocking fee to cancel a special order if it doesn't ship before our estimated date.
• Can you ship my order C.O.D.?
 Sorry, we don't offer C.O.D. shipping by choice. Please don't ask.
• Do you accept credit cards?
 We gladly accept debit and credit cards from Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We'll probably be adding a couple more payment options in the future, but chose to start with Google Checkout as our exclusive payment processor. President Bush uses "the Google" to check out his Crawford ranch when he's homesick, so we figured it was good enough for us too.
• What's the deal with Google Checkout?
 What's YOUR deal? We're starting off with Google Checkout as our sole payment processor because it's such a user-friendly system and knowing Google, it will only get better. We'll eventually add PayPal as an option, but can't project a specific date at this time.
• Can I pay with a personal check, money order or cash?
 Yes. We don't offer order forms because it's much easier for you to just add everything to the online shopping cart with a few clicks. Please be sure that you've correctly selected all of the available options to suit you. Print the contents of your cart upon finishing and double check the selections. Don't forget to write your shipping address on the printout before mailing it with your payment! We'll only accept payments made in U.S. dollars. Personal checks will take several days for the funds to be verified and may create a slight delay in shipping your order. We've got no problem accepting a cash payment, but the risk of loss is yours. We recommend at least wrapping the money in a sheet of paper to discourage a bright light from revealing the contents. Any coinage significantly increases the likelyhood that a sorting machine will tear your envelope (or betray cash contents to would-be thieves). Consider rounding any cash payment up to the nearest dollar. Tipping is always appreciated. • Do you accept international orders?
 We do accept international orders, but they cannot be paid for by credit card at this time. Payments must be made with a bank check that's drawn in US dollars or else US cash. Shipping to anywhere in the world via First Class US Airmail is still completely free of charge. The US Postal Service doesn't offer insurance or confirm the delivery of international orders. • How do I use my discount or coupon code?
 You'll have the opportunity to enter your discount/coupon code toward the end of Google's checkout process. Just proceed with the purchase as if you weren't some kind of total cheapskate!
• What are my shipping options?
 All orders will be shipped free of charge via USPS First Class Mail. If you spend a total of $40 or more, we'll ship it via USPS Priority Mail! We don't currently offer any express shipping upgrades. Because a high percentage of our orders require custom work, they can't be shipped immediately. We've found that all too frequently people get confused and eventually pissed upon realizing they paid $25 to get something overnighted two weeks after they placed an order. We'll soon be introduce an option for customers that still want to pay the additional fee and gain a few days. We just want everyone to be aware that actual shipping dates depend on whether an order is custom or ships from current inventory. • How much does shipping and handling cost?
 All orders are completely free of shipping and handling charges.
• How long will it take for my order to arrive?
 Merchandise that's in stock will be shipped out immediately and should arrive in 7-10 days at the latest. The majority of our online catalog items will require a custom order and delay the shipping accordingly. All items that are considered custom order will have a delivery estimate within it's detailed description page. It just depends on the item... • What if my order arrives defective, damaged or incorrect?
 We sincerely apologize if you're experiencing one of these issues. Please send an email or call us at (918)398-9508. It's fine if you leave a voicemail message after shop hours. We must be notified of any defect or error within 48 hours of receiving your order. Upon receiving your returned merchandise, we'll immediately ship a replacement order. Replacements will always be the exact same as those originally purchased. No substitutions or changes will be made for any reason.
• Is titanium better than stainless steel?
 The answer depends entirely upon what properties you're seeking. Titanium is pretty widely accepted as a superior metal from the standpoint of biocompatibility. The significantly lighter weight can also be a practical choice for some jewelry designs. Even so, many people like the old school look and feel of stainless steel with it's unmistakeable weight. Assuming that we're talking about implant grade metals used by top makers like Industrial Strength, it's kinda like choosing between a Harley or a Ducati... There is no wrong.
• Why should I buy online from Tulsa Body Jewelry?
 Although our shop just opened in January 2006, most of the ideas behind it have been percolating for almost a decade. Our central mission is to create a world class body jewelry shop both online and off. We primarily feature a growing selection of custom crafted designs that are made in the United States, but also stock a selection of imports for those on a budget. The emphasis is on custom. Choose from a range of styles, gauges, lengths, diameters, materials and colors... The combinations are almost limitless. The end result is jewelry that fits and feels like just another part of you. Need a little help? You'll never find superior attitude or impatient responses here. During the checkout process, you'll choose between having your order delivered free of charge or else we'll give you a phone call when it arrives here at the shop (pickup is quickest).

 Fuck You. Just kidding! We're only adding the finest name brand body jewelry to our online shopping cart at this time. Nothing less than the best that money can buy. Anyone who's visited our shop will attest to the massive variety on display, only a fraction of our inventory. I'm still having trouble displaying everything we have in stock. I've got tons of no-name jewelry that gets majorly marked up at the malls and headshops. Choose from several thousand jewelry options for less than ten bucks. About 25% of our jewelry isn't displayed so please ask if you don't find what you're seeking.
